September 2023 Newsletter
WELCOME TO THE SEPTEMBER NEWSLETTER
Welcome to the September edition of the Dicker Data Microsoft newsletter.
Spring is officially here and the weather has certainly improved around the country!
August wrapped up our annual roadshow. Thanks to all the partners who took the time to come and hear the latest from Microsoft Inspire and beyond.
1st of September saw an FX realignment of around 7% across all seat based CSP licensing, both legacy & NCE. This new price takes effect on your anniversary date. Unlike for our Aussie mates, SPLA pricing is not impacted until 1st January 2024 in NZ.
We believe that Microsoft will enforce compliance around a 300 seat maximum license across the Microsoft 365 Business sku’s in the near future. There has been a change to documentation which used to allow up to 300 seats per license type ie 300 x Business Premium, 300 x Business Standard and 300 x Business Basic which has now been updated to 300 licenses collectively across these products. Please contact your PDM if you’d like to understand more.
Not for Profit customers with five donation licenses for Dynamics 365 Sales Edition will be renewed at the current paid price rather than $0. We’ve contacted the impacted partners but please let us know if you have any questions.
Due to popular request, we have added a report to our portal showing all you renewal dates for CSP, Azure RI’s and Software Subscriptions. You’ll find it under the “Reporting” tab named “Upcoming MS CSP Renewals”. This is currently in beta mode, please reach out to Stacey Soukhaphanh with any queries or suggestions.
Our CSP Portal for integrating billing with Autotask, Desk Director and Xero has also had improvements of late. Please reach out to your PDM for more info.
There’s lots of training coming up – take a look at the promotions and training page for details.
Don’t forget we have a couple of promos running currently – Take the Scenic Route & Fuel your Future – be sure to check them both out and make sure your company is registered.
