What is Microsoft Co-op?

Microsoft Co-op funds are available to partners to use on Partner Skilling, Demand Generation and Market Development activities. Partners earn Co-op in one half (Earnings Period) and then have the following half to execute the activity (Usage Period). Learn More

Who can access Microsoft Co-op?

Partners can earn Microsoft Co-op in the Microsoft Commerce Incentives (MCI) program. In MCI, Microsoft pays out incentives as 60% rebate and 40% Co-op funds. Partners must complete a bank and tax profile for the incentive program(s) Co-op earning type in Partner Center. MCI Co-op Program details

How do I know if I have Microsoft Co-op to spend?

Partners who meet the criteria can view their potential Co-op in Partner Center. Navigate to the Incentives tab, select ‘Microsoft Commerce Incentives’ and apply the relevant filters to see your Co-op amount. Partner Center guide. 

 

What can I use Microsoft Co-op on?

Microsoft Co-op funds are available for Partner Skilling, Demand Generation and Market Development activities. A range of Co-op resources, including the Partner Incentives Co-op Guidebook, are available to help you understand eligible activities. Co-op resources

How do I claim Microsoft Co-op?

Co-op funds are earned in one half (Earnings Period) and claimed once the activity has been completed in the following half (Usage Period). Claim Co-op in Partner Center by selecting ‘Create a Claim’ and following the prompts. A Co-op claiming guide is available in the Co-op Funds Resources section. When can I claim my Microsoft Co-op?

Co-op funds can be claimed within 45 days of activity execution. For example: If a partner earns Co-op funds between 1 January and 30 June, then that partner can execute an activity anytime between 1 July and 31 December. Providing the partner submits the required Proof of Execution with dates that demonstrate the activity happened within the correct time-period then that partner can submit a request to Microsoft to claim those funds back.
