The Insights Workspace allows partners to access real-time data and reports on their business performance, customer engagement, and product usage. This data can be used to make informed decisions about your business, such as which products to focus on or which customers to target.

Microsoft have also improved on the old download options with the new ‘Downloads Hub’ which gives partners better reporting and insights of their customers and license usage from within Partner Centre. The reporting covers all supported programs within the Insights Workspace, and you can customise reports and create templates.

There are reports that are available for download with prepared columns and filters or you can create new reports. You can preview reports now before downloading, downloaded reports can be downloaded as CSV’s or TSV’s and any report can be saved and added to favourites.

New Reports can be created and saved with basic and advanced options available for your new reports. Basic reports allows you to create a report based on the classic reports view and options. Advanced reporting allows you to create your own reports and templates, apply filters and schedule reports.

The benefit of being able to schedule reports, is due to the time a report can take to prepare and you may need certain reporting available on certain times of the month for example. You can request that these reports to be scheduled so that they are ready for download rather than having to request the download and wait for creation. The creator of the report is notified when the reports are available for download.

You can access Download Hub through this link - Reports at the Insights dashboard are available only to users who have the Executive report viewer or Report viewer roles. On Feb 17, 2023, Downloads hub will replace Insights | Download reports.
