November 2023 Newsletter
WELCOME TO THE NOVEMBER NEWSLETTER
Welcome to the November 2023 Edition of the Dicker Data Microsoft newsletter.
This year seems to have flown by, with the countdown to the summer break now underway.
NCE for Not for Profit and Education was due to be introduced today, but Microsoft have now pushed that back to January 2024 with Microsoft-led migration of public sector offers beginning July 1, 2024. We’ll have more details in mid-November.
Starting in January 2024, Microsoft will initiate an automatic migration process, transitioning all renewing commercial customers to new commerce. We strongly recommend that you initiate the migrations yourselves prior to the renewal date to control the commitment terms with your customers. Microsoft led migrations will be an annual commitment, paid monthly.
Starting in April 2024, indirect resellers must have a minimum of USD1000 in trailing 12 months (TTM) CSP revenue (including Perpetual Software) at the reseller tenant level to remain authorized to transact as Cloud Solution Provider. This equates to about NZD $20,000 per year so only impacts a very small number of partners. Please reach out if you have concerns that this will impact you and we can give some guidance.
Incentives Administrators will see the new Earnings workspace is now generally available in Partner Center. It features a fresh look and feel, improved page usability, faster downloads, and a customer-centric view of revenue, usage, earnings, and payment. To learn more, see Earnings overview.
