I suspect that most partners won’t have heard of this, but it’s recommended for you to enrol for MCI Engagements, regardless of your Solution Designation or Competency, if you are transacting more than approx. $4K NZD per month (+25K USD per annum) in CSP licensing as there are options for incentives you may not be aware of.

 

 

MCI Engagements allows partners to earn incentives by proactively engaging with their customers and driving specific licensing that Microsoft wishes to promote to end customers via their partner base. Microsoft have funded workshop programs that can pay you to run workshops that you are eligible for, and you may also get bonus payments for conversions.

Dicker Data is fully on board with this program and are currently running workshops with partners to engage directly with end customers and help upgrade them from M365 Business Standard/Basic to M365 Business Premium. These are hands on workshops and all we need is three or more customers in a room, (we even provide the invite email) and we do everything else, we can even provide the room if you’re in Auckland.

Dicker Data are allocated a few funded workshops each quarter. However, you can also hold your own workshops and we can provide support to help you upsell your customers to Microsoft Business Premium, Microsoft E3 or E5. We’re also happy to do specific Security focused workshops. If you think this would be something you are interested in, do let us know by filling in this form. By enrolling in MCI, you can see what workshops are available for your business, but you are also getting much more from the upsell of the license, there’s the additional consultancy by deploying and ongoing maintenance for your customers.   The workshops instigate loyalty and customer engagement into your business and you into theirs. We have seen conversion rates of around 50% to date when end customers see what M365 Business Premium can do for them, for example.

There are a range of different options on how to engage with your customers and these will be listed when you enrol in MCI Engagements. You may wish to focus on a security engagement for example or something that aligns more with your business.
