To say that July was busy would be an understatement! Lots of news coming out of Inspire which we will share in more detail on our Inspire Roadshow later in the month. We have had to close registrations due to the overwhelming response but if you have missed out on registering, please reach out to your PDM and we’ll see if we can assist.
A few months back, Microsoft announced price increases due to FX that will come into effect in September. There was some confusion on a recent Microsoft call but we have triple checked the September preview pricing and can confirm there is no change to SPLA pricing in NZ until the usual January 1st price round although Aussie will see a 9% rise.
Seat based offers in both CSP legacy and NCE will increase approx. 7% in September. The price change will be effective on their next renewal date so if you have customers looking to upgrade, August is the time to do it so they’ll be locked in at the current pricing until the next renewal date.
Microsoft also announced the move to NCE for Education and Not for Profit subscriptions will be available from November 2023. Along with this, Microsoft will begin to migrate all renewing commercial offers to NCE from January 2024. We highly recommend that you migrate these prior to the automatic Microsoft migration so you can change any seat counts and terms as necessary. Most offers will default to being migrated as annual terms, paid monthly.
