A few Non-Profit Organizations out there are still on the Legacy Office 365 E2 plan, and on the 1st of October this year, they will be unable to renew into this plan.
Recently, this has prompted a few partners to ask me what the current Microsoft Non-Profit offers are.
As with the standard Commercial offering there are 3 key pillars to the Non-Profit offers.
Microsoft 365 Business Basic
Business Basic comes in at $0 grant for the first 300 licences for eligible organisations, however the Office apps are only provided as Web Apps.
Microsoft 365 Business Standard
Business Standard has an annual commit RRP of $4.50 per user per month and includes the Office Apps as desktop versions.
Microsoft 365 Business Premium
Business Premium offers 10 free licences, any extra are charged at the annual commit RRP of $8.30 per user per month. Handy if you want to look at deploying Intune and Defender to the end user.
Full RRP pricing and inclusions can be found here.
It’s not just a big saving on the licence RRP that is offered by Microsoft to Non-Profit organisations. Once signed up they will have access to Security Programmes, Training, and discounts on Surface Pro Devices.
Getting Started
Microsoft’s goal is to help eligible organizations achieve their goals through access to technology, training, and resources. To be eligible for the program, Non-Profit must be recognized as a charitable organization in NZ. This page has the link to register.
Overall, the Microsoft Non-Profit program is a valuable resource for charity organisations.
