1st Oct 2022 Microsoft Introduced the new Microsoft Partner Program - Solutions Partner Designation which replaces the current competency program.


Partners can still renew legacy competency benefits and earn incentives throughout FY23 under the new MCI Incentives program, provided they have migrated to NCE by 31st Dec 2022.  The MCI incentives also support the new Solutions Partner Designations.  Incentives for legacy CSP seat-based subscriptions will retire 31st December 2022.


Microsoft will still continue to invest in CSP Partners via the Microsoft Commerce Incentive Program.


What’s not changing:  The strategic core levers, product accelerators and customer add accelerators will remain the same as you have seen in FY22.  


What’s changing:  Microsoft will be adjusting the modern work and security program rates by increasing the customer acquisition accelerator, this will reward partners who drive new modern work and security business.

 

Microsoft Commerce Incentives and Investments

There are 3 incentive motions that fall under the Microsoft Commerce Incentives Program.

  1. Microsoft 365 Breadth Motion Incentive
  2. Microsoft 365 Customer Add Breadth Motion Incentive
  3. Microsoft 365 Build Intent Workshops

Microsoft 365 Build Intent Workshops

Now part of Microsoft Commerce Incentives (MCI), Build Intent Workshops are partner-led engagements designed by Microsoft to help partners demonstrate value, build intent, and accelerate opportunities for Modern Work and Security. 


Aligned with Solution Plays and customer needs, workshops include step-by-step guidance and content to assess customer needs, demonstrate “Art of the Possible” and build actionable deployment plans. Partner benefits include:

  • Deliver more value with a simplified experience and customer-focused engagements
  • Build customer intent with content designed to assess customer needs and demonstrate “Art of the Possible”
  • Accelerate opportunities with an actionable plan to implement recommended solutions

 

Build Intent Workshops – Modern Work and Security

Each Workshop has a payout in which the reseller must claim as per the stages below.

Workshop claim amounts will be calculated in USD, based on the country associated with the nominating partner's MPN ID
