This Month I thought I would do a refresher on the Microsoft Frontline Worker Plans. These plans are designed to help companies better empower their frontline workers.

Front Line workers are usually the first point of contact with customers so are critical in ensuring positive customer experiences. A frontline worker can range from Super Market retail staff to Seasonal Workers in a Vineyard.

Microsoft Frontline plans provide workers a suite of tools and resources that enable them to be more productive, more connected and better connected customers, their teams and mangers.

A lot of companies use the available Frontline Plans for their busy season whet hay may have an influx of temporary workers.

Microsoft Frontline is available in 2 different Plan Types

Microsoft 365 F1

Perfect for enabling collaboration between the frontline workforce. Built around consumption rather than creation. Includes the below:

  • Teams for Remote Collaboration, (Can be used to view and allocate a work roster using Microsoft Shifts, no more paper rosters!)
  • Yammer for Enterprise Social Networking
  • SharePoint Online (Doesn’t include a Site Mailbox or a personal site)
  • Read only Office on the web and mobile, with read only functionality for Office Apps

Microsoft 365 F3

Designed to connect and enable frontline staff with the office tools they are familiar with, the F3 Plan includes office for web and mobile apps for creation and consumption.

  • Office on the web and mobile – Includes office apps designed for mobile devices with a screen smaller than 10.9”
  • Outlook Web and Mobile and Exchange with 2 GB of mailbox space per user with web-based access through Outlook on the Web.
  • Teams for Remote Collaboration

Overall, Microsoft Frontline worker plans are an excellent investment for companies looking to improve the productivity, engagement, and satisfaction of their frontline workers. By providing access to modern collaboration and productivity tools, companies can empower their workers to be more efficient while working the frontline.
