Welcome to the December edition of the Dicker Data Microsoft newsletter.
Well, the silly season is upon us already – what a busy year it’s been. We hope you all get to recharge over the summer break. 2024 will bring more change with Education and Not for Profit moving to NCE and “Microsoft led” migrations for old legacy licenses. We suggest you migrate your licenses before Microsoft do it at renewal date so that you have control. Microsoft will add these licenses in waves with wave 1 due for release in January 2024. This wave will include the most common skus, including Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Standard & Premium, F1, E3/A3 and E5/A5. Preview pricing seems to have no price differential to Legacy CSP.
We will also see price changes across SPLA and possibly another FX adjustment in February but the FX has been fairly stable in recent months so that is likely to be minimal if at all. We will reach out to our SPLA partners directly in the next few days.
Our billing integration with ConnectWise, Autotask & Xero is in it’s pilot phase for Azure and due for full release before our December billing run – please reach out to your PDM if you require further information.
