The Earnings workspace provides insights and detailed reports on earnings, payments, and the associated reconciliation details for all incentive programs, marketplace, and store programs supported on Partner Center. It also shows the revenue/usage eligibility outcome for Microsoft commerce incentives. The Earnings Workspace replaces the Payouts Workspace.

 

 

The default settings when you log into the Earnings workspace will show your top 50 earning customers but you do have the ability to search on all your customers individually to where your are receiving your earnings.

As most partners earn through Modern Work, for example, you can see what your highest paying customers are based on their licenses. Earnings will also display the breakdown for payouts made against workshops etc.

You can search for earnings over date range as well as by customer/s.

The following examples of the pages under the Earnings Workspace are from an independent Partner Centre account, that has no licensing earning benefits, hence there’s no data for these examples.

To receive earnings from Microsoft, you must have a Microsoft Solutions Designation, a Microsoft Gold or Silver Partnership or be holding qualifying Microsoft Security or Modern Work Workshops. And, or be selling through Microsoft Marketplace or the Microsoft Store.

 

Under the Reports blade (as shown in the previous screen shot) there is the ability to filter reporting so you can see just the information that pertains to your business.

 

If you are expecting earning but none are showing in the current or next estimated payments, create a support ticket with Microsoft or reach out to your Partner Development Manager at Dicker Data initially.

Do keep in mind:

  • Company, bank & tax information must be complete and verified to receive payouts.
  • Information required for Workshops must be completed within the required timeframes and payouts are made quarterly, so your payout might be coming in the next quarter.
  • All payouts must be over the minimum accumulated total of $200 USD per quarter.
