April 2024 Newsletter
WELCOME TO THE April NEWSLETTER
Welcome to the April edition of the Dicker Data Microsoft newsletter and as ever, there is a lot happening in the Microsoft world.
Copilot
Copilot continues to be a huge topic of discussion for partners & their customers, and April will see Copilot for Security go generally available, as well as Copilot for Intune going into Public Preview for organisations that subscribe to Copilot for Security.
The supporting content for Copilot for Microsoft 365 also continues to grow, and if you haven’t yet explored the Copilot Lab, then I would definitely recommend checking it out.
Surface
March also saw some huge announcements for Microsoft Surface with the next-gen AI ready Laptop 6 & Pro 10 devices becoming available for purchase from April. These devices represent a significant advancement from previous generations, with a dedicated AI engine to support the modern workforce’s needs. Pre-orders are available now and stock is on its way to the Dicker Data warehouse, so reach out to the Dicker Data Surface team at microsoft.sales@dickerdata.co.nz for more information.
And to follow on from that, purchasing Surface devices has never been easier. Microsoft have announced that through to the end of June, non-authorised Resellers are eligible to purchase the Surface for Business portfolio of device and accessories - this is great news if you want to talk to your customers about Surface devices.
Offer Creation Program
We would also encourage our partners to check out the Dicker Data Offering Creation Program. This program focuses on enabling Dicker Data partners to develop and deliver customer-centric offers that are aligned to their Microsoft business (Infrastructure, Data & AI, Security, Modern Work).
The goal is to help you stand out from your competition, through offers that unlock a broader customer base and drive measurable revenue growth.
New SMB Solutions Partner Designations Coming Soon
Microsoft also recently announced that later this year, two new SMB paths for Solutions Partner designations will become available for Azure & Security. This is great news for the New Zealand market, and will give more partners access to the products, go-to-market resources, support, and advisory benefits that come with these designations.
