We’re reaching out because your organisation may have customers who accepted the Microsoft Customer Agreement (MCA) through attestation before April 1, 2023. Since then, the MCA has been updated to better clarify customer terms and prepare for future enhancements. You can review the latest MCA terms here.
For your Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) customers, where the agreement was attested by you on their behalf, you’ll need to review and accept the updated MCA terms for each customer by October 7, 2025. This will avoid service disruptions for your customers.
What happens after October 7, 2025 if MCA is not reaccepted?
Customers with an MCA dated before April 1, 2023 will be blocked from:
- Increasing or decreasing subscription quantities
- Changing term duration or billing plans
- Upgrading subscriptions
