Why Dicker Data as your Blancco Distributor?
Dicker Data Connect partners with LOX Locking to provide high-quality electromagnetic locking devices to the New Zealand security installer market.
Dicker Data’s Connect division boasts LOX Locking solution expertise our partners can leverage at any touchpoint. Partners can also unlock the possibilities of our value added services and Dicker Data Financial Solutions.
Electromagnetic Locks
Electromagnetic locks offer several advantages over conventional locks, including opportunities for remote operation and sturdiness in the face of both constant use and physical force. They are also easier to install than conventional locks because they have fewer interconnecting parts.
LOX electromagnetic locks are available with a full range of features, including both monitored and non-monitored versions, recessed styles, weather resistance, and mounting brackets.
LOX electromagnetic locks offer a range of holding forces that begins at 75kg — suitable for cabinets, lockers, and other small secure containers — and extends all the way up to 630kg for maximum security. They are among the most reliable and most successful electromagnetic locks on the New Zealand market.
Mechanical Magnetic Locks (MML)
LOX mechanical magnetic locks (MML) are an innovative alternative to traditional electromagnetic locks. Using a clever combination of magnetic and mechanical lock mechanisms, the MML possesses a superior locking force of up to 1000kg, whilst being 50-75% smaller than a standard 600kg electromagnetic lock.
Electric Door Strikes
Electric door strikes replace the usual metal plate that holds a lock’s bolt with an electric latch, for extra access control. The LOX series of electric door strikes are manufactured to the highest quality, and specifically designed for the New Zealand market.
They feature DC-only or dual-voltage options, and are all interchangeable from fail-secure mode to fail-safe mode using only a small screwdriver. There are also weather-resistant options suitable for outdoor pedestrian gates and light commercial applications.
Drop Bolts
The LOX DB1260 Electromechanical Drop Bolt has been designed to be used on double action (swing through) doors, or as an additional locking device in conjunction with an electric door strike. It is available in either fail-secure or fail-safe options, and is only 25mm wide — thin enough to be used on narrow frame installations. It can also be mounted on a glass door using one of several available mounting accessories.
This item is not recommended for use on emergency exits.
Cabinet Locks
Cabinets and lockers designed for secure storage deserve the highest quality locking mechanisms, too. LOX magnetic cabinet locks in the CL series are designed to fit cabinets and lockers with hinged, double action (swing through), or sliding doors. They are suitable for surface mount installation on all types of cabinets and lockers, from either the front or the side of the door.
These locks are set as fail-secure by default, but can be changed to fail-safe if required.
Hold Open Magnets
Hold open magnets are similar in design to electromagnetic locks, but instead of keeping doors locked they are designed to hold doors in an open position for pedestrians, especially for emergency exit purposes. LOX hold open magnets are available in many options, including floor-mounted, wall-mounted, and heavy duty. They come in 12V DC and 24V DC varieties.
With three modes available, the Network Access Controller offers flexible connections to suit different applications. IP Direct Mode is best suited to new sites with a focus on access control, while Extended via IP Mode is best for larger sites requiring both access control and intrusion functions. For existing installations looking for an easy upgrade, there is also Classic Mode.
