Apple Demo Technology Program - Device Content Over The Air (DCOTA)

Merchandising is a core element of the customer experience, but it doesn’t stop at the physical fixtures. Digital content enables customers to experience Apple products as if they were already their own. Things like testing new hardware features and trying out relevant Apps make all the difference to a customer experiencing a new device for the first time.

To ensure customers get these new and exciting moments every time they are in store, we need to have ways of keeping devices up to date and loaded with new content. The systems and processes used to create these experiences for every customer in store, is what we refer to as Digital Technology.

The Digital Technology that’s used depends on the device, program or retail partner.
